Ok, well, if we are being honest, it’s actually not a bad day to be trapped inside. The sun is shining, but the wind is biting today, a not-so-subtle reminder that winter is very very close. So at least I don’t feel too sad being chained to my computer getting some work done. Today’s boogie is just a mix of what’s on random shuffle as I work.
{NEW STUFF} I’ve signed up for thisismyjam – you can find me at http://www.thisismyjam.com/littlewhitedove and leave a comment if you have a profile and I’ll come follow your jams!
Not a blogger? Just join in in the comments – link to the video, or even just list your five!
IT WOULD BE NICE (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL) IF:
You hopped around and commented on some other boogiers blogs.
You linked me in your post (or heck, even grabbed the button). Even linking to the front page is fine if you are wanting to schedule your post in advance.
The button, if you are button-type blogger:

Yeah, I know, I know. I just couldn’t help myself! I missed the boogie. Maybe it’ll never be huge. But it’s fun anyway. So come join the party. Blog up to five songs. Any theme. Any reason. Doesn’t matter. You decide. Or if you have done a music post during the week, add your link as well! The more tunes the merrier. The linky is open from midday Saturday (AEST), for 48 hours.

So this week, I’m rediscovering an old love – Savage Garden. Five of my faves.
Affirmation
Crash & Burn
Truly Madly Deeply (of course!)
Santa Monica
I Don’t Know You Any More
And a bonus 6th video – it’s Darren Hayes solo, but I’ve had it on high repeat this week to help me work through some plot kinks for Lauren & Paul
The boogie to end them all. I’m hanging up the hat. Thanks to everyone who has joined in over the past few months, it’s been a blast, but it’s also time to accept I just don’t have the following to host a successful linky party. If you are boogie-ing today, feel free to link up in the comments. Today I’m sharing some of my favourite Aussie music.

And what is a new years party without Auld Lang Syne.
I’ve had this on high repeat over the break (yes, it’s Train, OF COURSE!)
The last Boogie for the year! Thank so much to everyone who has joined in this year, here’s hoping 2013 is bigger and better and boogier! I’ll be taking the week off next week, and will be back on deck in early January. Merry Christmas everyone!!

I’ve signed up with Kat over at I Saw You Dancing for #reverb12 – a month of prompts to blog along with every day. The prompts are open to interpretation, so I plan on blogging a bit, crafting a bit, and today, boogieing a bit, along to the prompts. I have decided I will keep the bloggers boogie running until the end of the year, and then re-assess.

So, today’s prompt is:
How are you starting this last month of 2012?
Take a moment, close your eyes, take a deep breath and ask yourself the question: how do you feel…
… in your body? in your mind? in your day job? in your creative life? in your heart?
How am I starting December? I am relaxed, encouraged, confident, comfortable and uplifted. I feel creativity and balance in the right measures, I feel contentment and peace. I feel blessed.
I’m still buzzing from quilt camp.So much fun, last Friday night:
A little ditty that I know Miss Bacoon will get a laugh at:
I’m feeling excited about Christmas. This may just be my favourite of favourite carols. Always has been, and I just adore Jewel’s version:
I’m feeling the itch to write. Lauren and Paul’s story has gotten right under my skin, and I am only approximately halfway through weaving the various strands I’ve started, and what I feel are needed to tell the story as I have it in my head. Current word count is just shy of 7.5k, on a story that I had been aiming for 5k-8k in total length! This Train song is one that I think of as “their” song. Nuts, I know.
But above all that feeling, today, physically at least, I feel hot. Brain meltingly, mojo crushingly HOT. Hello first heatwave of the summer.
How about you? How are you feeling coming into December?

Car has gotten me hooked on Dawson’s Creek reruns lately, so I’m going with a “tv theme song” theme for tonight’s boogie.
So there’s Dawsons Creek
And Party of Five
And Friends.
And of course, how could I not include this one!
I know Amy at MahliMoo will be bopping along to this one.

It’s a miserable old day here, and I thought perfect for pottering in the studio, cleaning and working and blogging and maybe even some sewing. So as I sat down, I started my day, as I usually do, checking a couple of my favourite blogs, and BOTH mentioned Mumford & Sons. Which twigging something in my mind, that, actually, I had been hearing a bit about them lately. So I hit up YouTube, and yep, I get it. They are pretty cool. From there, I let YouTube suggestions guide me, and well, you’ll sen how it went down. I love all the tunes in my boogie this week. Who’s your latest discovery that you are loving?
